I have a SOHC. I need to know the resistance for the MAF and water temp sensor. My car runs lean and is hard to start cold. I'm seeing if these 2 that are causing the problem.

MAF resistance of terminal B on the plug w/ wire (A B C) to ground should be 0 ohms ("key off")

other check is to look at the little hole to see if the wire is still intact. heard of corrosion @ the terminals, but I dont think this is your problem. Did you do a self diagnostic mode? code 12 will show if your MAF is shorted/disconnected

water temp sensor: code 13temp 20C/ 68F 2.9-2.9 ohms 80C/176F .30-.33 ohms

ok... try this: says to disconnect the plug to the sensor to fool the ECU & crank the engine.. if NG, check the circuit.

1st thing to check was battery voltage: less than 12V in the morning, charge/load test the battery. it seems that the tach reading should be about 300rpms when cranking.

another may be the starter operating too slow

other check is to see if the Air regulator stays open before warm-up

got your owner's manual? look up the procedure on how to change coolant... see air relief plug on the intake manifold near that hose that bends around to meet the intake boot?

you'll see 2 coolant snesors: the one nearest (& bigger)than the other one is the sensor to check for.

soo if it's running lean, can it be that the fuel filter may be clogged?

I have cleaned the fuel rail, regulator, injector, and replaced the filter. But it's still hard to start when cold and studders a little when idling
