someone tried to break into my old QX4 !!

Yesterday at 6:15AM i was woken up by the three horns of my QX4 asking me for help.

I grabbed the pistol from my bedstand and ran outside sporting nothing but my polo underwear and my gun, only to find that the thieves were racing away in a ford F150. I didnt have my key handy so I couldn't give chase.

My neighbor actually saw them pull up, they backed their truck in right next to mine and were idling the motor (loud exhaust). He actually got mad that the truck was idling and kept pulling back and forth to adjust its position so my neighbor held his arms up as if to signal "hey what the f??" but he assumed they were just regular idiots (we live in a complex) so he turned around and went inside. As soon as my neighbor went inside is when the alarm went off and I woke up.

Anyways, they didn't get anything (but this was my fault for having a classic shiny late 80's GT BMX bike in the back), new window cost me $140 installed + $30 for limo tint so it wasn't too bad.

From now on, I will have my V8 BMW key next to my gun... you break into my car, I hope you have a very fast getaway car and/or 9 lives.

(actually, in CA you can't shoot a thief unless they endanger your life, so you have to be very careful, but I was PISSED regardless!)

Might be able to do that in SC, likely would lose his weapon(s) & be charged in CA.

You should put something like this on the back of your QX4, maybe then someone would think twice about messing with your ride.
