Could be wrong, but you might be able to take the VIN number down to a Nissan dealer with proof of ownership and they should be able to cut you a new key based on that.

Call your local dealer to verify.

hell yeah I would purchase you locks! Do you really need to make a thread about what your options are? I mean seriously? What do you think you should do? Someone is walking around with a set of keys for you car.

you better lock up the car good if all you're gonna do is get new keys.

owner of the car now will probably steal it back.

So someone stole the keys from the person you are buying the car from? I am confused.

Yes, get new locks.

New locks that match are hard to come by in junk yards. It's probably cheaper to buy a set of auto locks with trunk popper and just find a junkyard car that has ignition and driver door so you can shave the passenger and trunk lock. Most jackers use the door opposite to the parking lot cams to force the lock open. Could be good insurance if you park the right way when your out...

Yeah, they were "stolen" how conveniant. If you are going to get the car, you better change the locks.

You've been here a while man eloborate so we know what the story is......shouldnt be a question though change the locks? of course or whoever "stole" the keys will steal the car soon after....or you could just wait a while and see if the keys pop up and if the current owner has the car stolen from him

Actually just don't buy the car. The current owner sounds like a douchenozzle.
