Where I can get the dang mounts/bushings/whatever for the rear diff. for a 1990 240sx!! I just picked up a J30 and they need to be replaced. I think the two in the front of the diff. are alright, but I need to replace the ones in the rear!

Thanks man! Now are those for the rear of the differential? You know there's two there close to the input shaft, are there two more where the studs come out of the back of the diff? I've never gotten up under there and looked or messed with it is why I don't know.

wont work for a s13 diff into the s13 subframe but you said you picked up a J30

Description:
SPL CNC machined T6061 solid aluminum mounting bushings allow you to adapt J30, Z32 (NA), S14, S15 or Skyline rear differential pumpkins to the S13 rear subframe (note that the rear housing cover still needs to be swapped for the stock S13 cover). Solid aluminum bushings eliminate the rubber bushings on the pumpkin that will tear due to the lack of a "moustache" support bar on the S13 subframe. The solid bushings will also hold the differential solidly to the subframe, reducing wheel hop and improving power transfer to the ground. Kit includes new Nissan bolts to mount the differential.

Yeah I got the J30 diff. I read the description but I just don't understand which ones they are.

S13s don't have bushings on the diff at all, It mounts solid to the subframe. In order to install the j30 diff you swap the open diff cover from the s13 on the j30 diff then use the j30 diffs front bolts and bushings and it will bolt right up.

Ok so now I've heard two different things. One person told me it bolted right up using the same bolts that came out of it, then you're saying that you use the bolts that came out of the J30. I don't have the bolts that came out of the J30, the diff was already out of the car. So you're saying that when I install the J30 rearend that I'm not going to use any bushings at all? And there has to be some type of bushing or something back there because something on mine is broke. It makes a popping noise when you let out on the clutch.

Using a J30 rear case you need S14/z32 differential bushing, or J30 bushings with hardware. (bolts and washer tops)
