Someone please help!!!

my car is a 90 240 with the stock ka-e in it about 185k miles, it started out with a bad lifter ticking ( sounded like a john deere tractor) that went away mysteriously. about a week after the lifter noise went away i had what i thought to be a crank or rod bearing going out, the noise was only present during cruising at any speed but went away with throttle. well the other day i was going down the highway at about 65mph and i was going down a hill and coming to my exit ramp so i decided to put in the clutch and coast. as soon as i hit the clutch the motor died... i tried starting it with the key and it would just crank.... soo i was kinda mad..... while still cruising at about 60 i just popped the clutch in 5th gear. the tach moved from 0 to 3k rpm faster then i could see after that it went downhill from there.. every time i hit the clutch it would die... it was also knocking very loud but only when it had constant throttle .... felt like it had about 50hp and it wouldn't rev past 2k rpm.... i left it in first and stayed on the gas and got up to about 10 mph.... all while smoking black and blue.... someone please help....i don't think i threw a rod because it starts up fine now and the sound doesn't have a rhythm to it...sorry for such a long post but im lost on what it could be.... any replies are appreciated. thanks

do the basics. check the plugstry it with maf unpluggedcheck fuel pressurecheck your oil and coolant for cross contamination
