I have a 1996 infiniti G20 that keeps burning up spark plugs. I think there is oil on them. It starts some mornings, but some it won't. What should I do?

Are there any sounds ( like lifter tap?) coming from the top of the engine? How quick are you buring through spark plugs? When you pull them, what do they look like?

I put some in on Monday and it's Friday and I can't crank it. I went out this morning and it crunk up and I held my foot on the gas and it sounded like it was skipping or something. As soon as I took my foot off the gas, it died and never crank back up. The plugs look like they have oil all over them. I haven't heard any tapping or anything though.

More questions.

Have you checked/replaced your injectors? Fuel filter? When you say skipping, its making me think "missing" which can be timing or plugged up injectors. Since the instant you take your foot off the pedal it dies, it would make sense to me that the injectors arent getting the fuel or delivering the fuel...no check engine light? No sounds....?

Another thought is that you are getting enough fuel, and your timing is off, then, the injectors spray, no spark happens, and then you are flooded the next time, you might get one compression stroke, but not all the fuel is used and exhausted, so it accumulated on the spark plug.
