The other day my z32 was running just fine. I turned it off, and it wouldn't start back up. I think it might be the PTU sensor but someone please verify? My car will not start, it cranks and is getting gas and spark. Doesn't make any sense. Would a bad PTU cause these problems? I read some forums and found that some people had the same problems and they changed the PTU and it fixed it. The PTU is the original one also. My car has 135,000 miles and is a 92'.

Welcome, and sorry to hear about your sudden problem.
You may also want to check the two connectors to the PTU, as often they can become corroded with green crap and need cleaning. If as you say you have an original style PTU, it may well have failed and if so you can get a new style one from Nissan possibly for free due to a recall. But IIRC that was an issue with only '90's and some '91's before they changed them and had the recall, so be sure to check to be sure you don't have the new style which generally does not fail.
A electrical short and failed fuseable link are other possibilities as well...hope this helps!

If no start, the CAS (Crank Angle Sensor) will be your culprit.

Bad PTU = no spark on one or more channels, If you're getting spark at all 6 then the PTU is fine. The CAS sends 2 different pulses to the ecu, if the injectors click and the cops fire the cas works.

Changed my ptu. So my ptu is good, and the CAS clicks. So what else do you think it might be? I'm really hoping to get it fixed before this Friday. I planned on going to Import alliance.

Odd to have spark but no fire...have you checked fuel pressure?
Looks like you need to do a sweep of the fuel system (pump, filter, FPS and FPR, etc.) and wiring connections looking for a short, or failed fuse...check the fuse box for any blown fuses as well as the fuseable link.
If that is no help than all I can think of is a run at the OSM, or a trip to the Z guru...hope this helps!
