This Q45 was perfect until I backed into a wall. 1990 was one of the best years for the Q45. It has a 300+ hp v8 motor with only 150,000 miles. Many upgrades, brand new 17 inch Yokohama tires on sweet Fitipaldi wheels. Upgraded engine computer chip (NICOecu), jdm transmission functions perfectly with quick, firm shifts, rear stabilizer bar, front tower strut brace, awesome brakes, beautiful leather interior in great shape, power everything, bumping CD/MP3 am/fm stereo, AC blows ice cold.

This car runs strong, is very comfortable and is very fast. It runs fine with the rear damage but looks pretty bad on the rear drivers side. This would be a great parts car if you already have an early Q45 and need some key components (yes, these guides were done) or have it repaired and it would be a sweet car. I don't have time to fix it, I just need someone to make me a decent offer and drive it away. All the damaged lights work but the lenses are... well, they used to be lenses... now I think they are fender.

This car is in San Diego

Please someone, take it. The wheels and tires are worth what I'm asking ($1100ish!) It has many upgrades and the well maintained stock brakes are great. It has been serviced from Jerry Tuckers All Import Service (http://www.jerrytucker.net) (The best Q45 guy on the west coast) since I bought it from my uncle at 65,000 miles in 2000. I put at least $18000.00 into this car. I upgraded this car to new and it was beautiful.

Make me an offer

Wow..."backed into a wall"????

I need to ask...

How fast were you going in reverse?

And how much did you have to drink?

What a shame .

What car did you buy to replace it?

Thats not the first time I heard that. I was barely moving in my apartment complex parking lot. If I would have hit the wall directly it would have been fine, but I just missed the wall and a cap brick on the top of the wall, sticking out about 2 inches, caught the car just above the bumper in a crumple zone. The wall was only about 2 feet tall. No alcohol was involved.

Thanks for asking

Depends what you want to do with it.

It is definitely fixable however it is expensive. If you could do it yourself thatd make it worthwhile. $650 for a new rear fender, and its a weld in affair. Call it 1000 if you can do your own paint work. Of course, you could buy a used fender (sawz-all) and save some dough. Dont know the semantics on replacement.

Would work nice as a parts car too, but you hate to see a car like this become a parts car. IMO, if you found another Q with good paint but with busted timing guides and needed other work, take 2 Q's to make 1 good one, and throw or sell the rest away.

The interior is deceiving, In pictures it looks almost red but It's actually a deep burgundy. I love it. I think it is one of the best interior colors on the Q. I put black mats to match the black door handles and steering wheel and it looks great.
