Ok guys check it out. i have an rb20 swap in my s13 hatch. . i have a sputtering problem, and ive done everything to my knowledge to fix it. . .

a few months ago after a drift event in tenessee, my car started lightly sputtering on the trip home. found out my fuel pump died, and replaced it with a J30 fuel pump. all the conections are soldered, the fuel pump is for sure good. but ever since i replaced it, it sputters. ive tried replacing pumps. fuel pump isnt the issue. . i thought it might b ingnition. spark plugs are fairly new, put a ground tree on all coil packs. still sputters. . checked for vac and boost leaks, and i found only one ic leak. fixed it, and it still sputters. checked the cas also. anyone have any other suggestions.?

THE SPUTTER: if i was to race someone from a dig, starting from 1st all the way threw 5th hard. it wont sputter. but when im on the interstate cruisin 70 on 5th gear, the second i throw it in 3rd to take off. it sputters for a few seconds then goes. Or if i do like a 30 kick in second gear, and stomp the gas it will sputter. yes it runs alittle rich, i dont have a wide band, no consult. any of your help is very much appreciated guys.. help a brotha out.

i was having some problems similiar to this, i finally found the culprit was the cas, i adjusted it slightly to the right (clockwise and it fixed the sputtering, loss of power and my overheating all in one, so im thinking my timing is off, i would check that. also what plugs are you running and what is your fuel pressure at?

Did you check to make sure the main harness plug is tightened right down? I thought I had a bunk fuel pump cuz of it. If its loose it can cause all kinds of weird stuff to happen. Trust me.
