use the ka lower harness and there is nothing more to it

I wanted to keep my stock gauge cluster since I have HUD, and I used the RB lower harness. Here's what to do:

Go to a junkyard and find a speedo sensor from a 5 speed S13 (auto may work as well, I'm not sure). It'll be the sensor near the back with a gear on the end and two wires coming from it. Pull that out, remove the speedo sensor from your RB transmission (MAKE SURE to drain the gear oil first, don't ask how I know ), and plug in the KA speed sensor, it should fit right in.

Run the wires from the speedo sensor up through the shifter hole. Now, for the wiring: You are going to run the GREEN wire from the speedo sensor to a YELLOW/BLUE wire from the gauge cluster, and the BLACK wire from the speedo sensor to a YELLOW/BLACK wire from the gauge cluster. I pulled the entire gauge cluster out to do this, but if you can find where the wires come out and connect these two wires without pulling the dash apart, more power to you.

That should be pretty much it.

Please bare with me.. I just need a little more information everyone..Cuz I'm the ONLY RB25 240 here. in MINNESOTA.. everyone else is SR20. I have read most of the cluster infos, but it was not very clear.. and no one took any pictures.. I'll take the pictures and post. here..

Project240:Will that work for all.. RBs swaps into 240SX?there are many conflicting issues.. I'm not sure if it will work.. I have no RPM and MPH(KPM)

For my swap:: I have the R33 gauge cluster.. NOT in car yet... What is the cheapest way to go? I have a 1990 240SX. If I keep the 240 cluster.. I need the speed sensor from a 1991-1994.. not 1989-1990.. and what else? on 1991-1994.. wires colors are different.. from 1989-90. If I put in the R33 cluster what wires do i connect it too? Don't have to change speed sensor on transmission.

I need these answers before I do my speedo thing..

You can have your stocker modified by LS Auto. They also will recalibrate your tach as well.
