Someone broke into my car!? :'(

Some bastards broke into my car and broke all of my windows stole my speakers, headunit, slashed my seats, and my insurance wont cover it since I only had liability...WHY ME!!! Im just a teen wanting to enjoy fixing my car up and someone has to just ***** up my pride and joy...Someones a lil jealous

I feel you pain, my car was broken into as well a few months ago. Lucky the people who broke into my car didn't know how to get the head unit so they got nothin i got a broken window and alot of scratchs. It sucks man. I'm more careful were a park now, in nice bright areas with alot of people around.

lol, j/k i know that wasnt funny, i'm really sorry for you guys. I hope that my car never gets broken into (custom interior) i'd cry, im spending so much time on it

they slashed your seats? lets kill those guy(s)!

yeah definately watch where you park and look into car security...while it dosent help much, it still can help

damn that sucks man. i know how it feels to get your shiz stolen. my car has gotten broken in to 2 times for the head unit and stolen once. I live in a good neighborhood too! damn those bastards!!

That totally blows i should knoe because my car was broken into a few months ago. those bastards broke off my passenger side panel, punched my key hole in and stole my stereo, i went to nissan dealer to buy the part... i got charged 80 fricken dollars for it, my sony head unit cost me $300, those motherless bastards!

I know how ya'll feel because someone broke into my car 2 months ago. They tried to do me a favor by breaking the right quarterpanel window first to open the door, but they couldn't reach, so they also broke the passenger side window and stole my head unit and all of my cd's.

Man that sucks. Sorry to hear that, I am planning on switching to full coverage against the recommendation of my insurance agent once I start seriously modding it.

On another note, I locked my keys in my car (s13) a few months ago, and it took me, who has never ever done this before and didn't know how, about 3 minutes to get in with a wire hanger. That sucks. It would probably be faster to use a hanger than dealing with breaking the window and the noise and shattered glass everywhere if I was a thief.

you should invest in an alarm. im lucky and my car has never been broken into but i had my hood smashed in by someone, it looked like they jumped on it. i know an alarm wont make it completely safe but it will help a lot. im really sorry to hear that, maybe think about getting more than just liability.

yea ive locked my keys in many times and i was very surprised at how easy it is to break into an s14 with a straight wire. i can do it just as fast as using a key. thats why i got an alarm.

Its an S14 The windows are costing me in the thousands everywhere, any recommendations on an alarm? The headunit well I'll put the old one for now, and speakers save again.

Dood, my ride got broken into, and they grabbed my garage remote and cleaned out my garage too. Mac tools stolen. life sucks.

Im a whiteboy living in a rough neighborhood in atlanta... someone actually broke into my house while i was sleeping and robbed me blind. Luckily i found the car outside with the keys in the ignition... i guess the crackhead couldnt drive a 5speed.

i had an alarm installed for $190, it has sensors so if you bump my car it gives warning beeps and if you hit it hard or break in it goes off, and enables the ignition to work. i think it is a JT alarm. well worth it.

got to a local junkyard and see if they have the glass there, usually cheaper if they do have it, and if you feel lucky and in the need for real cheap glass. Case the junkyard and come back at night with a friend and make of with all the glass u need. Grab me a VLSD if you do.

My s13 just got the lock punched last saturday. $800 alpine (naturally discontinued), and my checkbook and wallet and roll of quarters for downtown parking. It was just after a long day at an important theatre audition and working backstage for another show 6:00am to 11:30pm and I forgot to bring in the wallet. Luckily, I had just filled the tank and had enough groceries to last. And I'm covered except for $500 deductible.

My only hope (besides the jerks being caught) is that the cd of Purple Rain and Technotronic tape are forever stuck in that head unit, then they will know no peace!Wait, does that say something about my taste in music?

Last year in my previous car i got my ragtop slashed, and got my amp, deck and cd's jacked. I thought my college dorm parking lot was safe... Apparently not. What ticked me off more was the fact that I wasnt working during that semester of college and i had no money for any kind of replacement or repair. Now thats when you feel it most... Driving around town with rca's hanging out where your deck is supposed to be and a taped up ragtop. Luckily the jackasses couldnt get my speakers or my capacitor. I like having a flashy car and all but....its almost not worth all the attention from the theives these days.

The same thing happened to me, but they slim jimed my door and my alarm went off. I still ended up with a broke rear quarter window. Nick
