Someone backed into my car...

I was sitting in my car in the school parking lot waiting on someone. This truck starts backing up, and before I could do anything, it hits the front of my car! I got out and looked at what happened, just scratches. So I wasn't too worried about it. I get home and check it out some more, and I find that my headlight has been pushed in abit, so I open the hood and I try to move it back. It won't budge at all.

I look abit more and I find that the headlight mount (I guess) has been cracked.

Anyone know how to move the headlight back to where it was?

Anyway, I called this girls mom, and talked to her. They are going to pay for it when I get an estimate...

Man that just blows. Probably got a bent support frame for the headlight housing. I'd take it to Raymond Auto bodies for an estimate.

Man that same exact thing happened to me, some rich italian dude w/ an escalade backed into my car in front of my eyes. A big *** dent in my fender but hopefully his insurance company will pay for it. God knows that money isnt goin for body repair.

I know what you mean. A few months ago, my brother was chasing down a car w/ four guys in it that had just beat the s*** out of some guy. The car came to an intersection and got blocked in by a car in the front. So my brother boxed him in the back. So the guy puts it in reverse and floors it. he ran right into him, pushing him out of the way and took off. They ended up catching them a few weeks later, but my brother had to get a new bumper and headlights. he had just installed a new intercooler, but that is ok-we hope. Some people are really dumb

Update, The lady now doesn't want to pay for it unless the car is brought to her friend's bodyshop. She doesn't think her daughter could of hit my car even though the trucks ride height perfectly matches the height to the top of my bumper...

Another update... I got an estimate... $750 woohoo, I just have to talk to the adjuster, and he'll write me a check... hopefully
