Never really heard that being an issue but you can use a N1 Oil Pump just for safety.

RB's only starve themselves of oil at constant high rpms. What happens is all the oil gets pumped to the head and doesn't fall back to the sump fast enough... This problem only occurs when your a redline junkie or raise the max RPM.This is eliminated by 2 known mods.1. External oil reservoir.Expensive but awesome.2. Head drain mod.The head drain mod has been known to burn out cams at low rpms.

Just make sure your block doesn't have gunk in it and you change your oil regularly to avoid this from happening 99.99999% of the time.

IMO it is primarily urban legend.

I recently did the external oil drain mod. Not because my engine was starved for oil, that has never happened. But because I was getting massive amounts of blow-by from the head being full of oil.External oil drain solves both of those problems, and I wouldn't worry about cams drying out, they're supplied with pressurized oil from underneath.

Here's a link to the external oil mod I used (although I ran mine on the passenger side).http://www.spoolimports.com/co...t.asp
