Somebody stole my programmer

Yea, so my wife left the window cracked on the passenger side of my car and some crackheads got the door unlocked. The ecu and programmer are installed in the glovebox. They stole the programmer, but didn't steal the ecu. They also took my cell phone car charger and all of the pens out of my center console, but didn't steal the change in the ashtray. What a bunch of idiots.

The moral of the story is. Dont smoke crack, or you may steal programmers but not the change that will buy you more rocks.

Grrrrrrrrr....stupid a$$, what kinda programer is it???? I'd keep my eye out at the local pawn shops and speed shops. I need to meet up with ya sometime to give you the spring compressor back, I gave it to prather racing to do some head work and they wanted the springs/retainers in the head.

It's a good thing they didn't take any more, or do any damage for that matter.. Filthy thieves. I don't imagine they knew really what they were doing, or they were just young punks.. All the change was still there, they got the progrommer, obviously not knowing what it was, or thinking it were something else..

The last time my car was broken into, they got all my audio/video stuff, and I mean ALL of it..Wiring too And they took my entire center console instead of just rooting out my change..

Thanks guys. I'm keeping a look out on eBay in hopes that maybe they'll try something stupid like that. What will probably happen is that when they find out it's worthless w/o the ECU they'll throw it away. I'm just hoping they don't try to come back for the rest of it....

Damn man, that schitt sucks for real . And the sad part is that stinking controller is not that cheap and now you have to fish around for one or open the pocket. I hate donkey-faced people that do $hit like that knowing they are not going to be able to do anything with the damn thing. If I had had an extra one, you know I'd hook you up, but I don't.

The car is basically tuned, but I was planning on changing turbo's here soon, and putting my 3 bar MAP sensor back on there.

Like I said before, what sucks is that programmer is useless with out the ECU. They'll probably just throw it away once they realize it's junk.
