Somebody smashed my window

It sucks my 240 was broke into last night. They smashed the rear driverside window and coudn't get in. Then they set off my alarm. They didn't steal my radio but it still sucks. I'm off to find another window so far i haven't had any luck. Anybody have a extra rear drivers side window? My car is a hatch(fastback). Nick

Check the local bone yards Nick. Is there an import yard up your way? If not, Guardian Auto Glass has always done a good job for me and they are reasonably priced.

first i would try to get the finger prints of whoever did it and kill them first, then worry about the glass...just think of it as a sunroof , on the side of the car;)

police wont normally pull prints from a broken into car the next morning!! they are too lazy to call out the crime van!! my neighbor had his car broken into and you could see the greazy hand prints all over the windows and they said that the dew has washed anything useable away!! needles to say that cops dont like beening called dumb*****s and yelled at for their carelessness!!

Yesterday i went looking for a window and no luck finding one in the junkyards. I found a hatch but the window was gone already. I have one more junkyard to check today. The cops couldn't do anything and i have a deductable of $500. Seriously i would have given them my cd player just don't break my window. I didn't have a system i just had a pioneer cd player. That and my car was parked the last 2 days due to brake problems i havn't got around to fixing. Oh well this suck. Nick

damm that sux, some *****ers also broke into my car 2x recently. I'm assuming their ricers or hs kids. gonna chop their hands off when i find them. the funny thing is... all they took were my shift knob, lug nut wrench, and my change box. Now i have an empty hole in my center console. Take the change i don't care, but give me back my ****ing box. The same *****s also tried to get into my car by prying open my doorhandle with a screwdriver. since they couldn't get in they left. WTF is wrong with poor ricers nowadays, if you can't afford parts or a car, go cry in your room and stare at your lil stupid street and idiot tuner magazines.
