Very pissed about it.

Need to know of any decent paint shops in the south Atlanta area. Any help?

What am I looking at for cost? The scratch is about 5 inches long, just to the left of the door handle. The middle portion is deep...I don't think it was a key, probably from someone rubbing against it in a parking lot

Sorry to hear Joe.

That happened to my 05. It cost me $375.00 (Can-eh-dian) because the scratch was so deep they had to re-paint the whole thing.

Bastards!!!

$375 isn't so bad...I was thinking it would be above $500! Wasn't sure if I should do an insurance claim. I still need to get a few estimates.

I know the pain

I had some one back into my lexus at the walmart. It was a guy that was parked in the handicap! I was parked accross from him! Drove off with no info left on my car!

Did 1300 worth of damage! I had a 1000.00 deductable

It hurt my feelings and my checkbook!

Thats f*** up, I would be mad as hell, as for a shop in ATL try Xtreme body shop on Buford Hwy near Chamblee, they do pretty good work but it will probably cost around 4-500 or u can get it done cheaper at Macco.

this is the info:5361 Buford Hwy.Dorallville GA 30340(678) 547-0033

and ask fo Sonny.

Thanks Nhat! Buford is a bit far...I've got an appointment at Mcdonough Collision tomorrow and I'm going to get an estimate from Heritage collision off GA 54.

I'll let you guys know the $$...I may post up pics too; such a sad sight though

First estimate was $440. They have to do the entire door, blend the front/rear quarters...

Getting a second estimate today. This sucks!

Well the 2nd estimate was more, but they will match the price for the other...so it looks like the damage will cost me $450. sigh...

Geez Joe... you need to work on your negotiating skills!!

That was your chance to see if they would at least beat it by 20-30bux to get the job!

Sorry for you having to deal with crap like this..

Nope...haven't banned anyone or denied anything. I really hope it wasn't someone from the web...I'm pretty sure it was just some old careless person in a parking lot.

Well, got the car back this week...They did a great job! Can't tell AT ALL! I had the front bumper done as well due to crappy OEM paint leading to nasty chips/scratches. Looks 100% better then before.

Had the door done with blending the fenders/lower door sill and the front bumper for $550!! They gave me a reduced labor rate because my Infiniti dealer sends them their big jobs.

If you're on the south side of Atlanta, check out Heritage collision in Morrow!!

That sounds like a decent deal Joe... now since you spent all that $$$ are you going to consider a clear bra for the front of her?
