somebody hit my car

so i was parked in the corner spot of the mall because there was no parking spots and when i came out somebody hit my left rear corner of my bumper and left a really big denti was in the last spot of the corner of the lot so when the other person who was in the other corner spot must not of looked and just hit my carim really pissed and dont know what to do

my bumper is caved in and all i think i need is a new bumper cover or they might be able to pound it out and just paint it

how much is a new bumper cover installed and painted as i would not like to go through insureance company if possible

my deductable is $500 and i think i might be able to get it done for less than that

i dont know how to post pictures but i think you all get the idea of the damage as i see alot of cars with this type of damage just from backing into little things

Sorry to hear that!!!I had the front bumper on my cobra repainted due to a run in with a parts bin at a local Ford dealer (their fault) and it cost them $450 to do it. That's taking it off, spraying it, and baking. So, I would think it would cost you more since they will more than likely have to get a new bumper and do the same.

You should go back to the mall and ask if they have security cameras at the parking lot.

Sorry to hear that... I managed to back into a Jeep in my G35 coupe. The jeep was jacked up and I just scraped the bumper. It was $400 to make the pain go away. No damage to the jeep..
