I woke up at 5 am on saturday morning and got into to my car to go to SATURDAY work (lame day already.) I start my car and back out of my girfriends driveway when sudenly all my VOLK GTS WHEELS start falling off. realising that someone removed my lugnuts i freak out and call the police. they did the report (fingerprints questions) and tell me they pretty much wont do S*** unless i find the guy. you cant tell so much from the pictures (i trusted my girlfriend to take) but the way the front wheels fell off they pretty much started to rip my front fenders off my car. i called my insurance and its coverd sorta but it doesnt help how i feel about my car getting stretched apart. the car flexed pretty well and kinda went back together, although my front end lines are screwd up. and my headlights are outa place. I also dont have the proper lugs for my volks so im back to stocks and im short 5 stock lugs.

my volks also got scratched so i think im going to get them powder coated black all the way around. the lip got pretty scatched and ive never seen black lip volks so i kinda like the idea. the lug holes got really scratched so im deffinitly do that. HAS anyone ever taken some volks apart? is it hard or a bad idea? i have to seperate them to get the coating.

heres a pic of my beautys before the accident

sorry buddy, but I think someone was trying to steal your wheels. What kind of lugnuts did you have?

...do you have any enemies? raced somebody lately that looked like to be a sore looser?

Wow, that sucks bro.

Be careful powder coating the lug holes. You don't want paint (or thick paint) on the face of the wheel where the lug nut holds it tight. If the powder coat is thick, it can chip off, and cause the wheel to become loose, which as you know, isn't good.

When things get better for you,...you should come out to our meets every other friday and meet up with some other local z owners. Again, sucks *** that people do **** like that. Volks arent cheap either.

That sucks about your wheels. It could have been worse though. They could take taken your wheels and left you on blocks.

Could have been really worse...... just loosen the nuts and you lose the wheel as you're driving!!!!Sounds like someone has it in for you. They didn't even take the wheels.

e-mail VOLK for the torque specs. don't tell them you are thinking of separating them, tell them you did so they don't just say " we don't recommend doing it, take it to a certified professional "...... or you could tell them and see if they could help you out.... if they give you some BS then tell them you already did and need the torque specs.....

if they went though the trouble of busting off locking lugs they either know you and hate you or they were going to steal the wheels
