Got the rear end suspension pieces tightened up, just need to get a few more things on back there including the diff and rear sway.

A few pics of the oil return and send lines, as well as the clearance of the turbo to BMC. Waiting on a 90 deg NPT male to female adaptor to put my oil pressure sending unit on the end of the T from the block (without it, it hits the alternator).

Just a little done yesterday. I need to be more motivated.

Megan Heat Shield is a tight fit (probably due to the Z32 BMC) and will need to install downpipe before putting it on.

Got the 90 deg fitting in and installed the autometer oil pressure sender. Should have put the oil filter on, oops.

After a suggestion, some 5/8 hose around the SS oil sending line to aviod rubbing the strut tower.

And the CS coolant tank and ebay catch can installed.

Quick update:

Got the intake mani on.Lower harness hooked up.Diff/axles/Driveshaft bolted up.Power steering pump bolted on.Shortened the Oil drain line.Alternator belt put on.Filled transmission and put shifter back in.Took off my Sparco hood pins and painted them black. Hope doesn't show up as much on the hood and they had some surface rust.Put heat reflector on the BMC Heat Shield.

Got the correct PS belt finally, but was cleaned up so didn't install it yet.Put the catback back on, pics below.Put the hood pins back on the hood after painting, pics below.Since Energy Suspension sway bar bushings were too thick for stock rear endlinks, created my own extended rear sway bar links, pics below. Was missing the D bracket bolts for the rear sway bar(for reference: 10x1.25x30), Lowes has a lot of my money recently.

Painted hood pins, noticed they'll probably flake off, oh well:

Cat back on:

The 'make your own' rear sway bar endlinks.-Energy Suspension bushings (comes with washers)-2 6 inch, 5/16 - 18 threaded rods-6 5/16 - 18 nylon locking nuts-2 5/16 - 18 extended nuts (the long ones for the middle)-2 5/16 washers

Still going very slow:

I failed Friday, didn't get nearly as much done as I'd hoped. Ran into low battery drill issues. And had to buy too many tools to do what I needed.

Just got my vice bolted on today that I need to bend some of the metal brackets for the IC mounts. Now hopefully the IC/pipes will be sometime next weekend.

Cut the bumper support to fit IC:

Got the injectors in the rail with new O-rings ( white lithium worked fine to install them) and bolted on the Nismo FPR:

Chapter 421232132: Got tired and had more problems.

-Got the IC setup on (still need to remove the brackets and paint them though)-Need a 45 deg angle coupler for the filter pipe from the turbo-Fuel rail will not go in, Nismo FPR adjustment screw hits the head, I assume I need an adapter/spacer of some kind-Could not find anything to cut the gasket material I had to make a gasket for the DP, also DP appears to slightly hit the steering shaft, so will need to be dented in a little

Anyway Pics of the IC on. 3 brackets on top and 2 on bottom. Hotside is stright pipe, to bov pipe, to 90 deg coupler to 45 deg pipe to 90 deg coupler. Cold side was a premade welded pipe, just had to cut one section to put the maf in.

A little more, not much.

-FPR looks like it will have to be remote located, so will have to get the Nismo adapter.-Painted the IC mount tabs.-Got the pipe/Air Filter on.-Cut out gasket for DP at turbo. Put on the downpipe, bottom bolt is a b****, but will have to take off again to get bung for EGT sensor welded on the DP.-Started taking the dash apart. Have to get help with BC/TT/Oil Temp/EGT/Boost installs. Can't find the reason one of my fan switches isn't working.

Bring back from the dead. Have been working on DownPipe issues is the reason for lag. The DP setup I had bought was mocked up on a RHD car and when put on mine barely hit the steering shaft. So just go it cut/tacked this past weekend. Should be welded by next weekend.

Also:Took out the Oil T from the filter block, put in the BSPT to NPT adapter and the NPT to AN adapter (not pictured). Was a lot easier to work in there without the filter and alternator on the engine. Then got a metal strap to make a cheap/quick holder for the T at the strut tower, bolted using one of the bolts from the cruise vaccum. May take it off and paint it, not sure. Also added rubber hose around the fuel line incase it rubs.Going tomorrow to pick up:2 NPT to AN adapters for the T2 Braided lines (1.5 feet and 5 feet)

Next got the flange to use as a spacer (from where the DP was moved it created a space) and new gaskets in yesterday and the OEM exhuast brackets (that attach to the back of the transmission mount) in today. Got some new 10mmx50 bolts/washers/lock washers/nuts for those.

Got the turbo hole tapped (one had the threads messed up a little) and DP on, including bottom section. Also tightened the WG tube after I noticed it was lose.

Got the bmc heat sheild on (with heat reflectant added). Is a real tight fit with the Z32 bmc.

Need to get wire to run for safety wire on the DP bolts and then squeeze the blanket on.

After that, guess I just need to try to get gauges figured out, somehow, then add oil/coolant, turn it over manually some, then crank.

Football season and planned meets are going to slow me down.

Hopefully by mid-Sept it will be running. Just want to get gauges done before cranking. But have to get an alignment asap after its running, since subframe/crossmember were replace and adj rear toe/traction rods added.

It is alive.

Crazier things have not happen, the white car is alive. Sorry no vid.

Thanks for Frankie coming and helping with wiring today, we got it cranked. Should say I'm lucky that an engine that sat in a garage since '04 cranked the first time and showed no signs of issues... so far (knock on wood).

Completed today:Coolant in and burpedGauges wired up, installedFigured issue with fan switches (was a blown fuse that we didn't remember we installed the first time)Adjust Nismo FPR to around 45psi at rail.Cranked and idle fine.

Still need to be done/investigated:OEM Temp sensor not working, need another.EGT and Oil Temp gauges have no power, need to hook to a different source.Mount the plate in the air vent (double sided tape, clamps, screws or something)Rear passenger wheel = wow 'toes', jack up and adjust (pic below)Possible exhaust leak at the V-band, can't really tell, probably try to crank on a lift or somethingGet alignment and put everything back together

Now the story to prove me an idiot. First go to crank it and it jumps to sounding like its at WOT. Noticed on of the cold pipe T-bolts hit the throttle pulley and was holding it open. Fixed that.

Then cranked a 2nd and 3rd time, sounds like WOT and vaccum leak. Promptly Frankie noticed that I forgot to put in the rubber ring around the injectors, therefore the air rushing in. Found those and put them in, perfect idle after that.

Back on the ground:

The passenger back wheel:

Yeah, hopefully next weekend I'll get the small things fixed and take it for a small test drive, then will setup for an alignment. My camera only takes like 15-20 second vids, so no big promises.

Not a clue right now, only driven it twice, would guess at 5psi it feels around 170-180whp and hope to be around 220-230whp at 9psi.

Still probably slower than my G currently. But should be a little more fun to drive.
