Some wierd noise coming from underneath....

I have a 93sx fastback...Im getting this noise underneath and is pretty frustrating...It makes this whirl sound...when you run you can hear it and when you stop you can hear it also and it vibrates a bit...is on my rear right side...my car has been taken good care off...i've been trying to post pics but no joy...anyways has anyone had this problem?

better description of the "whirl"

like is it coming from flat out the wheel, does it happen all the time or when you're braking or turning, or what?

It happands once in a while is hard to describe. It seems like is coming of the differential the whirl sound...but then again a have another type of vibration that comes like from inside that back packet on the rear right side and i check my suspension and my shocks are good to go>>>>Is driving me nuts im afraid my tire with the whole axe will come out while im driving...when im on the road at high speed you wont hear it...but when im slowing down then you hear this whirl sound. The vibration comes when im about to stop or shifting in gear is crazy men....I had this problem for months and still havent been able to figure it out...I will take it to the hobby shop and dig in there to see what can i find in more details...thanks any opinion pls let me know....JS
