Couple things have changed since my last photo post, thought I would share them! :)

Paint & Window Tint:
Most of you guys know I had the car painted Lexus' Glacier Frost Mica from the Obsidian Black that was on before. Such a beautiful color. It's hard to show in pictures, you have to see it in person, it changes from a blue to pinkish to yellow under certain light. I also had the front windshield tinted at 30% and all other windows (including rear window) tinted at 5%. Illegal, I know, but the police just don't seem to care in Florida because of the heat. :bigthumb:

Lights:
I've always hated the look of the mismatched colors in the Xenon headlights and halogen foglights on my Infiniti M45, so I thought it was about time to upgrade both to 10000k HIDs! I heard from many people that going that high on the Kelvin scale will drastically reduce the light output, but, in actually, I have had no visibility issues (day or night) compared to my previous lighting setup since the upgrade.

Before:
(Headlights - 8000k D2S HIDs, Fog Lights - 10000k H11 Halogens)
Image

After:
(Headlights - 10000k D2S HIDs, Fog Lights - 10000k D2S HIDs)
Image

Rear Window & Trunk Spoilers:
Paint matched to Glacier Frost

I'm also in the process of doing a complete exterior LED swap-out.

Let me know what you think of my progress!!  :ohno:
You know, i often go back and forth about getting that mesh grille but it really is simple, yet elegant..hmmm

As for your car, it looks really good man. I like it alot. Where did you get the roof and trunk spoiler? Never been a fan of hids over 8K in the headlights but you're going for them matching, so job well done. How did you manage to fit D2S bulbs in the fogs?

Looks good man and that color is hard to appreciate through picture's. Im a huge fan of the pearl white our M's come with but the GFM is one spot above that in my fav colors just cuz of the unique color change it has in person. The only thing i would recommend is change out your parking bulb up front that way it matches your HID's. ( which im sure is in your shopping cart of LED's for exterior ) What other bulbs are your swapping on the outside? I can think of side markers, license plate, turn signals and that's it.

too much show :) and not enough go ;)

oh and i have to flame you for the front windshield tint - come on man!!!

:D overall, i think you spent tons of money to make your M45 stands out; but why is your M running on stock 18? aren't all M45 rocking the double spokes 19"

Wait...you put D2S bulbs into your fog lights? Or was that just a copy and paste typo?

if it's a kit, then it's a D2S bulb that was rebased to fit the h11 socket..that's essentially what all HID kits are..

Actually that makes sense, since almost all HID bulbs are the longish type, which is what D2S bulbs are as well. Now I get it. Brain fart.

hahaha yeah D2S all the way..that's why I asked b/c the orginal post made me think you had "regular" D2S (regular as in unbased) bulbs in there

glad we're all on the same page now lol

That's what I thought. So it is a D2S bulb :)

i don't think much has changed since i did an HID upgrade on my old M but D2S and H11 are completely diffrent.

oh and Inlineup, awesome freaking color!!!! love it! way better than the skunk setup you had before.
wish you lived closer. love to check it out.
only beef i have with you is the 10000k setup for the fogs. horrible choice.
and i disagee on the light output. i've had 6000k, 8000k and 10000k on my M and 6000k was the best light output.

yes, D2S and H11 are different, no argument there...I wasn't saying that they were the same so I'm a little confused by your statement?

it feels so weird refering to you guys by your SN, but mine sounds good because you guys can call me Cruz (btw my name is Jake) anyway, mister lineup - i want to know which kid from where did you buy and used. also if you can put your name somewher so i can call you by your name instead of "lineup" that would be nice

same goes to you fiveliter, deffy want to know your name ( i should've said same apply to the rest of people here) after all, we're human :)

Awesome ride man! especially love the back shot.

Would love to know how you painted the chrome bars above and below the license plate. I wanna do mine to, but i think i'm gonna go with glossy black and leave the "INFINITI" as is

I have a Midnight Blue 2006 M45. I was thinking about getting it repainted a different color. How much did you pay? How long did it take? How do I search for a reputable body shop?

lineup, or anyone with hid fogs, do you keep your headlight on auto or do you manually turn them on? have you ever had any issues with the fogs not coming on?

Nice pics you should re-take the 1st one without any other car's in the background and I think it would look better.

I gotta say I like the OEM grille on your car Eric as opposed to the aftermarket mesh one...gives the car some contrast..
