Thanks, Bmore. Do you or anyone else know if it would fit on a 2006 altima? The front bumper doesn't look different from what I can tell.

I just picked up my GT Concept hood and I was wondering if you had any problems with getting water in your intake from washing the hood ???

Nope..water drains into the engine bay but it doesn't dump into the filter.

Thanks Dangeris, did you get the hood from VIS too, because ED didn't include those panel things ESP was talking about that screw into the underside of the hood.

Nope, Darryl has the ED hood (four vents vs three vents for the ViS hood). The vents on the ED hood are likely positioned in such a way that the intake filter is relatively covered...

I know I've got some pics of those underside panels somewhere around here.........

Gotcha, well I went to take my car the the power wash today and was worried about water getting into the intake. I covered my intake with a plastic bag (just during wash) and after I was done I popped the hood and I don't know if it would be substantial but the ED hood does let a lot of water in, including the intake.

The second vent up on the driver side lets right down onto my intake (Injen)

Pictures would be great ESP I want to fab something to cover up that vent

No problem! In the meantime, I'd suggest investing twenty five of your hard earned dollars into an Injen HydroShield...

Quote »Nope. The stock support bracket is still there. It helps that my car is black and therefore the brace is too. Also, the white mesh camouflages it pretty well. It's only in certain light that you can see it, and even then it's only if you're looking straight at it. At this point in the game, I don't think it's necessary to do Infantry's mod...[/quote]Good work! Grill looks amazing! Did you have to paint the radiator or does the white mesh do a good job at camouflaging it?

Thanks man!I didn't paint the rad, but I might get around to it this summer. The white grille does a damn good job of hiding the support bar. If, however, the members who recently cut theirs out aren't having any long term issues without it being there, then I might go that route...

I'm still debating what to do. I have a black coupe and I was planning on painting the entire c-mod grill black. If I do this, I will have to paint the radiator too. But If the camouflaging white mesh can save me from cutting the bar and painting the radiator then I might do this. I really don't want to bother with the bar or radiator unless it's really noticeable.

Well, since you have a black coupe, I think having the support bar painted black cuts down on how much you can see it through the grille.

True but then I'd have to deal with the radiator. But now that I've thought about it. I don't think I want to go black. Do you think silver mesh would would hide things good? What other colors would be a good camouflage? Thanks for your help

Anything light would mask it pretty well, really.

Thanks. I purchased them through Stillen early last year. Unfortunately, Konig has discontinued them since...

Unfortunately, I didn't like how any of the rear-end shots turned out. Besides, I've got a whole new exhaust system now as well as the blacked out tails. Once the snow melts and the weather cleans up, I'll install the CF roof wing and shortly thereafter be doing another shoot.
