some track duty in my G37x

went to silver dollar raceway this weekend, did 4 runs all a consistent 14.3 seconds. I would of been a little faster if i didn't have a full tank of gas, my spare tire, and a passenger. (got last minute notice) My engine is still basically stock so I'm very happy with my time

Give it a whirl one day without the gas and passenger. I was 13.8 stock without a great launch. I need to go again some time with the mods but those around here don't seem to be interested.

I can't believe they let you have a passenger!!! OMG, The time I went to test-n-tune in my Camaro, they weren't going to let me run because I had on shorts. My brother was there and had a spare pair of pants. That was real cute.

i went up there last minute and i forgot my helmet and was sad i was going to have to spectate, turns out as long as you running above 14 secends you can have a passenger and no helmet. i was amazed at that. ill be going back there again with my helmet though...

i went back this weekend and ran 14.059s in my car with everything out the trunk and less than half tank of gas. hopefully will break 13 if i can get better reaction times LOL

Reaction time won't help your ET. Clock doesn't start till you break the light.

drop that 60ft alil bit and your in the 13.9's. possibly lower some tire pressure.

i got Nitrogen in my tires... ill just work on losing more weight when i hit the track and launching. my car weighed in at 3750lbs with trunk empty of everything... including rugs, spare tire, and half tank of gas.

Are you getting any tire spin at all? That will kill an ET.

where are you launching, I think you can launch higher, and you can possibly preload at the line.

i been lauching at ~2k RPM once you get past that the rear tires start to spin, brakes will hold car in place still. Just the AWD system will direct all power to rear wheels...Then 50% of power is immediaty put back up front when brake is released.

its kinda cool to see an AWD car spining wheels at the line but not moving LOL (the spin is not fast enough to produce smoke, just the weaker rear brakes not holding)

Next time ill just let the rears slow spin in place and get above ~2k RPM and see what happens. ill make sure i get it on video too... wait i do have it on video in my old G35x...
