Just tossing around these ideas.... since the motor isnt even torn down yet, nothing is set in stone.

Used T28 or a generic Ebay one, some have served ppl quite well.My DE pistons at 10:1run the turbo at a maximum of 10psimaybe a tubular manifold, not sure if would fit since id need to think about where my intercooler pipes would go.

I might make the jump to a Z32, but since most of the power would be made via the higher compression it should be okay.

I figure ill be good for 250hp like that, considering i musta been making over 200hp with 6psi (SR T25)and 10:1. she was MUCH faster like that... i enjoyed the quick response and how hard she took off.

This will be after i complete the rebuild and machine work to clean up the block and head.

any input?I am not cheaping out, just planning reasonable power levels. Im fwd so i really dont need/want more then 300hp. remember my car is 200lbs lighter then u S13 guys, so she moves jsut fine

Believe it or not, according to people I've talked to, OBX turbos are supposed to be quite good.

I'd try one out myself but I've already invested in a TD05/6 manifold for my engine. Actually, OBX's journal bearing turbos are based on MHI units with a wider assortment of inlet flanges.

Just make sure your tuning is spot on with that compression and you should be fine. If you're trying to do it was a SAFC, forget it. You at least need a romulator and dyno tune it. The timing map is going to be very tricky.
