Hi, I got a quick question, are the suspensions reliable on this car? because there is a lot of bumps and pot holes here and its mostly impossible to avoid them because of traffic, so is the car reliable for these roads? would it last?

Part of living in the Big Apple is accepting that, if you choose to own a car, you will need to spend more on maintenance of your suspension than just about anywhere else. It doesn't matter how reliable the suspension is, you're going to chew it up faster than anyone else.

I am changing my suspension setup to get rid of the ripple control struts. They suck for big pot holes. But no matter if you have good suspension or not, pot holes and bad roads will decimate any suspension no matter how good it is.

Well its wear and tear on the your car...but hitting all those potholes...well to be streight out its not good for your car. Your shocks protect the car from taking damage from the road...so as long as your shocks are good your car is good...as long as you dont go off a cliff or something. But as soon as your shocks are gone your going to have to replace the shocks or something deadly might occur.

So are you saying you cant avoid them...at all? Maybe take a different route...the bus would save money. isnt it faster to walk then drive in NY?!

I LOVE NEWW-YORKKK

The only 2 vehicles I know of that will resist New-York's roads & potholes are a Mack truck and a Sherman tank, now neither one is really practical for a commuter.

OH you will know allright, don't worry about that, the car will bing and bang all over the road, the dash will show you also when it starts to shake rattle and roll.

I have no idea, did not buy it, several Nissan's in the family no one has ever had the need for it.

However I doubt that wore out shocks, like wore out tires or wore out brakes are covered.
