Some skills take years to acquire, I suspect!

I am blown away by his cinder block laying skills.

Restores my faith in man and his capability to learn ... no robot is going to do this kind of human activity right (well, in my lifetime anyway), even if they are able to spot-weld cars together today.

It doesn't take to long to be able to do that. I used to work construction and if you did that for at least a year you would be humming along. I used a string to make sure the rows didn't deviate along the length of the course, though. Maybe he's good enough to eyeball it.

I think there is a string there - look at the red line along the outer edge.

Most impressive - if it only takes a year to gain that skill, then I am still blown away. :yesnod

Actually, look again. There is a pink line on the far side. I didn't notice it until the camera started aiming at a lower angle.

Good, I was starting to think the string was a newb thing and I just wasn't a Jedi master like this dude.

So I heard from some long time masons and they tell me his technique isn't very good, it just looks cool. They also say he isn't very fast but could be slowing it down so it can be filmed.
