Well Here she is all tore up.

Should be about two or three more weeks til she fixed. Ended up being about 16 grand worth of damage. Originally qouted a 13 but more damage was found. i thought about having the car totaled out but its already too late. Cant wait to get my baby back and throw some wheels on and the cmod grill.

The guy that is fixing it is a very close freind of mines dad. He owns the shop and does good work. If this was anyother shop i would of had the car totaled out. I trust this guys work. he takes absolutly no shortcuts and makes sure everything gets done the right way. as you can tell from the pictures he pretty much dismantled the entire car to make sure everything gets the way it should be again. the most i will have him do as far as tweaks is roll the fenders insurance is paying for this and id prefer everything is fixed with oem parts.

I was thinking about getting it but im not too big of a fan for it. The amount of work that is getting done is amazing. So many people ask why it is taking so long but when you see pictures like this it explains itself..

Im surprised the insurance company didn't want to total it. 16k cant be much less than what the value of the car is.

Sometimes sentimental value far exceeds pre-conception of monetary value. He loves his car, weighed the option of totaling it out and is having a friend of the family doing the repairs. I think it will turn out just the way he wants it to
