some quick help

ok i bought a new turbo outlet pipe for my redtop, the problem is, is that the 02 sensor i had for it does not fit the threads however the KA's 02 sensor fits. The wiring is completely differnt so thats out of the picture. Now i read that 300zx 02 sensor is the replacment sensor... is that the same size as the one i have or same size as the KA. please help and thanks for your time

I'm assuming you probably bought a black top's 02 extension pipe instead of the red top. The red top uses the thin o2 sensor while the black top uses a thicker o2 sensor.

Here's the Nissan oem part # for the slim o2 sensor just in case. Nissan Part Number 22690-19P20

I had the same problem with mine about a year ago, then a buddy of mine told me that megan racing had a fitting to fix that problem, and they did...I dont know what the part number was, all i did was get in contact with them and told them what the problem was and they hooked me up.....problem solved.......

would the redtop still be ok with the large o2 though?im running the large on my redtop now,it seems like it runs fine.figured id ask though.

the fat-type blacktop sensor is the same thing as a 95 Z32tt sensor.

i dont know the factory number...however phase2 sells them

ok thanks im going to try it... all the wiring is the same right? is there anything i can do to eliminate the o2 al together

technically you shouldnt use a fatty o2 sensor on a redtop ECU because the way skinny o2 sensor sends signal (Titania) is different than the way fatty o2 sensor (Zirconia) sends signal.

Personally, Im running a fatty one on a redtop ECU and Im sure im running somewhat rich because of it.

If you can try to get a redtop o2 sensor to work.

If not you can wire up a fatty one. The middle of the three wire is the signal and the two outer is 12v and ground for the heater. Polarity does not matter.
