i thinking about buy a 180 or 240 sx 90-93 model maybe newer if i find one cheap but i was wondering how hard is it to do the swap do u have to pin wires to the ecu, also can u keep ac

first of all there are no 180sx's in america. only way to get one in to make your 240sx one. swap is very easy to do. 91-94 240sx's are a llittle easier than the 89-90 the most common engine swap is the sr20det. I am working on my thrid one. bolt on, very cheap, reliable and can get easy hp. gains. there are other engine like the ca18det, or rb series engines(skyline). When usually getting an engine you should get an other ecu. there are tons of company's that can convert your wire harness for like a hundred bucks. Do a little more searching on these forums and you can find any answer to any question.also for the ac. yes you can keep the stock a/c on the motor swap.siince you live in texas you might want to upgrade your radiator so you can run a/c safely without overheating
