Some Questions

alright so im new to the Z community and have some questions. I wanna mod the car a little bit in terms of style before i begin the engine ****. I keep looking at some of these cars and i was wondering how they get the 300zx middle light in the rear to light up.Led's or a whole new panel. If ne one knows hows its done or how to do it please let me no. Another thing is i was going to try and buy the factory shift knob because they momo one that is on there doesnt fit with the boot. Wheres the cheapest place to get one online and does anyone know how to change the boot on the know and the ebrake if i was gonna do that instead. Im also putting a kit on and a new catback exhaust. let me know where i can find some inexpensive stuff online. Im looking at the Wings West kit..Gracias

you could always check ebay for your kit, but you know how ebay is with car parts... be carefull. but as for the shiftnob do you want the factory factory shiftnob because you can get one with the same shape and material for cheaper than you would pay to go and get one from the dealership or something... as for exhaust, most people suggest the hks hiper bolt on cat back, which is a good i dea if you have money, but if you dont, i just say you go with hks mufflers and get custom bent piping. you will pay alot less for just as good quality. thats what i did, except my mufflers arent hks they are Megan carbon's, but anyway it cost me around 400 bucks for my entire exhaust system 200 for my mufflers and 175 for my piping and my z performs very well.
