some questions reguarding the rb20 motor

hello i have a few questions., first is (dont hate), i got an aftermarket bov its an hsk ssqv, it doesnt leak , i didnt recirculate it but no air comes out where u would recirc it.. , when i put my clutch in, it dies , i really want to fix this any ideas?, also i want to run mobil 1 fully senthetic, would u reccomend 5w30 or 10w30?, also i am really dissapointed with the 1/8th mile track times, best was a 9.1, please help, here are the mods..aem fpr,hks bov,vibrant fmic, welded ic piping, turbo xs mbc,stage 2 clutch,hks filter, 3" exhaust with an apexi n1 turbo muffler, walbro 255 fuel pump, 18"wheels which are pretty heavy..thats all the mods(performance), let me now what u guys think thanks

Im pretty sure that you need to have your BOV recircultaing or it will die

its the hks, it doesnt bolw any out, so technically it does recirculate it.. idk what it does lol

Whaaaa? So the bov is not hooked up? and when u start the car and push the clutch in after its running the car stalls on you? How do you know u don't have any vacume leaks in your intercooler setup?

you're funny. the bov is connected. i believe he meant to say that he try to circulate the bov, but circulation doesn't seem to be working. engine stall when pressing down the clutch pedal (when shift).

black240jl: you need to adjust the bolt on the back, if it's not releasing air properly, maybe loosen bolt some. you solution is either get a tip for it to circulate the air, or get an SAFC for throttle compensation; so you dont' stall on shifts.

Never stalled donce having my HKS SSQV open to atmosphere.

my 20 car never stalled after the SSQV did it's thing. (Atmospheric)

Ive heard some people say that it stalls your engine with it open, and I just dont see how that would happen. I mean you have what..........1 second if even that of air coming from the bov into your intake pipe. There isnt a sensor between those 2 points to cause anything diffrent to the engine.

Ive heard the same for the 4G63's
