HiLast Week i buy a Sx 200 with the Ca18 Det Enginefirst question is: how many horsepower the orginal Pistons and the crankschaft can handle befor the Engine is blown??In which way the ECU does cut the Fuel when boost is to high??in my Supra TT you must built in a Boost Cut Controllerwhats the highst boost that the turbo can handle and second the ignitionsystem(coils) are built for more boost like 20 PSI???My supra is tuned up with a AEM ECU whats the best ECU upgrade(Standalone) for the SX???whats the max RPM with org Valve Springs???is the transmission built for more Horsepower like 300 to 400 RWHP??first i need a good clutch......but not a so loudly clutch like my QS Giken tripple in my supra:mad: In germany the SX 200 is sold often, the car is very cheap, good car from 1000 $ please forgive my bad englisch and thank you for answers.best regards Thomas
Man, German chicks are HOT you lucky guy you! Here's the questions I know the answer to: the transmission is sturdy as long as you dont do anything outrageous to it (slicks+6000rpm drop kinda outrageous) The turbo runs out on boost early, it's just plain TINY. Of the T25's nissan uses, it's the smallest I think. The crankshaft is STRONG, as are the rods. The pistons are also sturdy but are the weaker part if anything. With good tuning I think they've seen upwards of 300hp quite a few times. The max RPM is ecu limited...it'll look higher on the tach than it really is, perhaps someone can pipe in and tell what it's set to in the ECU, I've forgotten. I mostly just wanted to drop in on the CA section for a change

Whatever u do with the engine, watch out for the conrod bearings (Pleuellager), u never know how the previous owner treated the car!!! With a few performance upgrades (chip, exhaust, FMIC, fuel pump) @ 1Bar u should sqeeze ca 230-240HP (@flywheel) out of the stock Tsmall (T25).

So you actually have to rebuild the engine, that's kinda good, this way you don't have to worry about a messed up engine. What kind of monster you wanna built (750cc injectors ), sounds interesting !?
Maybe i will go to Bitburg on Friday (depending on the weather), there's a drag meet at an empty airfield (shoot me an email: [email protected] ), maybe we can meet there.
