Some questions for a 1989 Sentra

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

I know it's an oldie, but for a free car that only has 28k miles on it, it runs like a charm. I do still have some questions about my 1989 Sentra 4-door E-Sedan:

How can I access the Windshield Wiper Fluid Reservoir in full? I know there is a crack in it somewhere (it has a bad leak somewhere toward the top from what I can tell).

Is the cigarette port capable of emitting power to charge a phone or to power electronic accessories?

Also, is there any way that I can stop water from entering the trunk? I know this is a common problem with most B12 Sentras, but is there any known solution to this problem?

Thanks much!

Welcome to Nico!!! Seems to be one hell of a find with only 28k miles. You can reach the reservoir through the fender liner. Jack the car up and start removing the splash shield from underneath on the passenger side, this should open up access. The cigarette lighter should work fine, unless the fuse is blown. The water issue in the trunk was a common problem on the b12 and b13 sentra. On the b13 it was entering around the tail lights. Open the trunk and see if there is any type of sealant around the tail light housing. If not, that is the problem and time to seal it up.

It is in pretty good condition, the only fault is its rust, which I neutralized and applied bondo to, so it's not much of a problem anymore. Otherwise and especially mechanically, it is in superb condition. I actually do have some photos I took of the interior handy, which I'll post now, and I'll post some of the exterior later on.:

Of course, yes the radio is custom. It's a Kenwood KDC-3028, which also has Xplod speakers. I didn't pick the color (my sister did when it was her car, lets face it, a B12 Sentra aint no muscle car) but it does kind of add a retro effect to the car with the color. Also, not pictured because I haven't put them in yet, are my TomTom GO 720 GPS, and my new baby, the Valentine V1 radar detector. The interior is going to be incredible when I add all of those in!
