Some questions about the QX4...

So I was just surfing the interwebs and I came across a dealer ad for this 2003 QX4 in Winnipeg. After looking at some pictures of it I have some questions for your QX4 owners. I attached the pictures of the QX4 in question below.

1. I think rear heated seats are awesome. I first saw rear heated seats in a car when I was looking at A6's with my brother and one of the cars had the rear heated seats; I've always thought they were awesome, probably because I spent most of my childhood riding in the back seat, thanks to my older brother. Do any Nico QX4 members have that option on their vehicle? Do you guys use it very much?

2. I have never seen that chrome roof rack on a QX4 before. Was that actually a factory option for the QX4? I also don't think I've ever seen a Nico member with those chrome factory wheels either, I'm assuming it's a chrome package which includes the wheels and roof rack. Do any QX4 members have that chrome roof rack or any pics of other QX4's with it?

3. Looking at the engine pics, I am curious as to why the 2003 QX4 doesn't have the same throttle-by-wire as the 2003 Pathfinder. Did they implement the throttle-by-wire system on the 2004's either? I don't see why they wouldn't just use the same system as the Pathfinder on the same production years.

4. Did any of the QX4's come with a heated steering wheel as an option? Seeing as it has rear heated seats and adjustable headlights it would seem as though a heated steering wheel is a no-brainer.

are you sure its not a 02? anyway, I don't think any Q's came with heated steering wheels? other then that, it looks ok, I'm just not a fan of 2 tone paint.....black, white, dark blue, and silver should of been the only color options IMO, with no option on interrior other then black leather, or black alcantara!

Were the rear heated seats only an option for Canadian QX4's?There was a platinum edition QX4? I can honestly say I did not know that nor have I ever seen one in my life, but that's really interesting to know.

yea. Heated seats were in a package from 2002-2003, but only available in Canada for 2001.
