ok guys, so im not super smart on turbos yet but i know some stuff. I have a 94 altima with the ka24de. I recently found a t28 full turbo kit and had a couple questions before buying it. Once i purchase the turbo, what other mods to my engine will need to be done so i dont mess anything up. I will be running the turbo at about 8psi. Any ideas or tips will help. Thanks

Welcome to Nico. Make sure you read the stickies and do a thorough search before posting generic questions like this one; you'll save yourself some flaming. Good luck with your project, nice to see an Altima around here!!!

I'm going to assume the turbo kit is complete. So the only things you'll need to address are fuel and ignition management of some kind. The easiest by far would be a FMU, also known as a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. This adds fuel pressure so the stock injectors have a higher output under boosting conditions but runs like stock when off boost. I'd retard my timing at the distributor 2 degree's just for safety. The FMU will also require a new fuel pump, but that's something that will need replacing no matter what you choose for fuel management. The Walbro 255LPH pump is the most common option.

Other then that, the options get more intricate and more expensive. Whats your budget? Will you be paying someone to tune it if you use another type of fuel management?

Read the top 2 stickies, they have alot of info for you.
