does anyone know where I can find a cheap replacment bronze window for my 1992 Q45a, some punk kid smashed it out. I cant beleive how expensive they are! how hard is it to install. does any one know anyone with a parts car?

50-100 bucks at a junk yard. OEM is going to be too expensive.

I assume you don't have glass-breakage coverage with your insurance? I wouldn't bring it up, but I have had more than one friend drive around with a cracked window forgetting that they have coverage for that...

Windshield = Glass between A-pillars that shileds you from the wind when you drive normally.

Backlight = Glass between the rear pillars that seals the cockpit but allows light to enter.

Presume you don't drive in R all the time?

I just open the yellow pages and start calling from A to Z. Have it professionally installed if youre sloppy like me.

My Mazda's rear window (got into a bit of a fight, someone tossed a beer bottle through it) had to be removed and resealed over and over because it kept leaking in storms and car washes. Tedious job, not for the impatient like myself!
