well i wouldnt exactly call it progress, but heres what i have been not working alot on lately... im just burnt out after working 12-14hours a day in the shop that i never want to stay after to work on my own stuff.

this was the first time it has moved in over a year and a half. thats about as far as it made it too

what i got when i put the timming light on it. still havnt tried figuring it out, mechanical timming is good, have a spare CAS i need to test tomorrow afternoon hoping thats the problem..

DIY cold pipe.

Hot pipe that was orginally for my old T28BB, i had to modify it to fit the stock turbo.

needs alot of cleaning till its ready to take out in public

alot a good it does to spend all your money on suspension bits and other crap when it sits on jack stands for year at a time.

I like the color of your valve cover.

I will personally go black, but yours goes with the hot pipe, I guess. Did you actually weld the cold pipe yourself? Those welds look spotless and clean! Wish I could weld that good

actually it doesnt match at all in person, i dont know what i was thinking when i painted the hot pipe ford blue. ill prob do the cold and hot pipes the same color as the valve covers, or just cast iron grey like it is now.

yeah i welded it myself. ive been tig welding only about a month, been practicing a couple hours a day at work. im goin to try alum soon as i get better at doing the stack of quaters beads, and getting my penatration and heat right.

i actually have to fix the pipes that go into the FMIC so i can eliminate 2 couplers that shouldnt be on there. once i get it running right ill begin the final clean up of wiring and everything else thats messy.

Hey, if you can, try to get a pic of the turbo side of the motor looking down into the engine bay. Im trying to get a feel for the bends I am going to need when I do my FMIC in a year or so.

I hope my harness has all the stock wiring clips still on it, that would make wiring so much easier...
