Hey everyone, im new to the forums, and also new to the 240sx.

I just bought one last week. Its a 1995 240sx (automatic). Ive noticed a few problems with it. First problem, when i accelerate to about 60 mph, the car starts to shake a bit. The steering wheel shakes quite a bit, and it just keeps shaking until i slow down to about 55 mph. Im guessing its probably allignment? The main thing that ive noticed however is when i start to drive, when the car shifts from 1st to 2nd it gives a bit of a pull. it kind of feels like if you are shifting in a standard car and drop the clutch. it does the same thign from gear 2-3 but not as hard. Anyone know what i tcould be? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot

The shaking is most likely due to wheel balance.

The 240sx auto trannies shift harder from 1st to 2nd; it's normal, not to worry.

Wheel balance, seperated tire, or blown struts. Try a trans flush.

Thanks guys, yea im going to try the transmission flush for the transmission. I found out what the " vibration" was. I need an alignment, but i cant get an alignment before i change my suspension. I took it to a shop to get an estimate. They say the entire rear subrframe and struts need to be replaced...... Guess its time to sell and buy a new one
