Hi folks -

Mark and I have conversed below about my need for rear upper control arms, and I've come up with numerous possibilities. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This would be strictly for street use.

Here's one interesting possibility, with extreme ease of installation:http://www.pdm-racing.com/prod....html

Here's the SPL piece:http://www.splparts.com/ (go to the Fairlady page, then suspension, then rear mulit-link, then scroll down)

And here's a place with three different brands, including Nismo:http://www.czp.us/Cart/items.p...1.224

I realize all of them have more or less solid inboard connections, but it turns out that I do need a little adjustability for camber, especially on the left side. (The car currently has 148k miles on it.)

Again, thanks in advance - Pat

First one is a front tension rod. Looks good and heavy duty, maybe better than the Midori.

Rear upper links look quite different on a G50. Don't know if if Z32 would work as the suspensions a re different dimensionally.

Good research.

stick with the ring type, it's closer to oem shape, probably for a reason

also, someone had a pic of the cracked battle version, maybe someone can revive the pic?

Hi Brian -

If you scroll down a little bit on the first one (Battle Version) you come upon a rear upper control arm for the Z32. Interesting design, in that it's a half-circle design.

This one (or this site) seems directed toward drifting (I don't plan any, at least not premeditated) so I'm a little concerned about streetability and durability, and, of course, your ultimate question about the dimensions of any of these vis a vis the Q. Mark did fit the Stillens to his Q, however. - Pat

Thanks loveless -

Yup, cracked won't do. I'm kind of leaning towards either the SPL or the Nismo at this point. - Pat

Yeah, that may work if the dimensions are correct.

Drifting requires (among other things) a misaligned suspension.

Drifting is to racing like synchronized swimming is to competitive swimming.
