I've been seeing numerous members testing out there new motors by test driving them with possible intercooler pipes loose, no exhaust, bling bling BOVs (SSQV), vacuum hoses undone, etc, etc; and all on a stock CA18DET with stock harness, AFM, and ecu. Let me say this guys, most of the answers to the question you have lies in the way you ghetto-rigged your car to test out your new motor.
Nissan systems are very sensitive and the slightest user error can easily affect driveability. Most of you are very eager to feel some boost and to rev the piss out of your motor, but you fail to understand that if any component of the basic set-up is not functioning correctly or is taking in an unusual amount of air (ie open downpipes, rigged AFM set-ups), you are going to have driveability issues "Point blank".
So I say this, put your car together completely and then take it, test it and post questions you may have. But if you're out there ghetto-juicing, nothing anyone can say in here is going to have an immediate solution to your problem.
