If you look closely, the exhaust tips on the 2.5 and 3.5 are different.Cali 2 Balti G wrote:I liked it better when you could tell if an altima was 4 or 6 cylinder by the number of exhaust pipes. Starting with the current sedan all altimas now have dual exhaust.
Plus the badges clutter up the nice lines of that car. I think it looks nice.Kasper08 wrote:removed badges for 3 reason 1- i hated the dealership badge on there 2- Is it a v6 or a 4cyl ???3- some many people ask what it is cause it doesn't have the altima badge on it (edited out all the LOL's)i just really like it that way but to each his own ya know lol and as far as removing takes about 20 secs high heat blow dryer on each one then pull off with dental floss and after it's all off just take soap and water to remove the left over glue it took maybe 30min to get all 4 badges off and clean up all the gook
i replyed in the other post about the mods, but i also think it's gonna be a little hard cause of the limited space under the hood, and that is cool as hell your in deland :-) i was just out there last tuesday at halftimes chillen with some friends .Chamillionaire wrote:Kasper,
I'm over in DeLand , I've yet to see an 08 Coupe at all . I have a Winter Frost 3.5 SE but not the premium package , I live up north and leather gets toooooo cold!!!
I also debadged mine! I want to install an HID kit as well, any ideas on how tough it may be????
That's exactly why I'm going to debadge mine. Especially since I use a polisher...they don't like extra things getting in their way.Phantomdragon wrote:i also debadged mine also because it's a hell of alot easier to clean and especially wax. those letters get in the way. i kept the nissan logo though
do the pinstripe ASAP i would say get a wet cloth and rub around the end it should loosen and just peel it off like a sticker(as long as yours is stuck on) if that doesn't work take a blow dryer and keep it on it for a few secs then start peeling off slowly it's really easy but you gotta do it before that thing bakes into your paint loltw17ch wrote:I'm planning on getting rid of my badges as well, so I really appreacite your post on how to do it. Mine has a pinstripe on it as well. How did you get that off?
