Got the FMIC piping and brackets back after having them bead blasted (thanks Chase!) and dropped them off at the chrome shop thursday afternoon. Its amazing how nicely bead blasting cleans everything up.

I'll make sure to post up pictures when I get them back from chroming.

It all depends on the quality of the work. Like it is with most things, you get what you pay for. A top notch plating shop will clean and polish the metal before chroming so that you get a perfect finish. Generally they flush welds, smooth edges, etc as prep work.

I do a decent amount of business with Kyron Plating so they give me a pretty decent hookup, but I'd say to do those 4 intercooler pipes, the 6 coil pack brackets, and the harness bracket it will probably run me $200-250.

Very nice. Glad to see you boys are staying productive up there. In the meantime I'll just keep enjoying my 70 degree winter.

Keep up the good work.

So Steph went and picked up the chrome stuff today from my guys at Kyron Plating and as always it turned out awesome. Not being too keen with looking at it in my house I figured I'd call the guys and we'd hang out, have some pizza and drinks, and toss it on the car. So here ya go....

Thanks man! Its a shame you're not local, you'd be more than welcome to stop over and borrow tools and bs and such.
