Due to requests... I am posting some pics of my Q, even though I am not happy with it yet.... as It hasn't even been complied/registered yet... so there is still more work to be done yet...

But here it is...

At the lot... just after a test drive ( the love affair begins)

An odd angle from the rear.... note the bronze tint and Japanese writing on the rear window

At my parents house... showing them for the first time..

A shot ot the rear... at a more "normal" angle

At home.... parked at the end of my driveway (note the paint chips on the door handle surrounds and the trim over the doors)

Shot of the front, after i repaired the LHS indicator

Interior shot of the Recaro front seats, taken with a crappy camera phone!

Camera phone... After stripping the paint from the door handle trims and trim over the doors

Closer shot of the stripped chrome trim

Well...

thats all I am showing for now...

The rear leather seats are in perfect condition, but there is no stereo system to speak of, only speakers..

And I had to strip the tint off to make sure i pass inspection, at $100 per pop, i dont want to have to go through it more than once, so I am playing it safe.

I have a DVD player and TFT in dash monitor to go in the frontNeed to order two TFT monitors for the rear too

and install the amp and sub too..

Then get it registered

After that, I will do some nice classy shots, with nice backgrounds and stuff

I like that you removed the paint off the trim/handles. And those Recaros look "neat" in the car ... but my butt is happy with regular seats.

Once you get it cleaned and ready, go snap some pics, looking forward to some more pics.

Thanks guys!

I will post more pics once I have done a little more work..

I had to remove the paint on the door handles due to paint chips, but thought it would look good with the actual handle staying painted, to add contrast.

I only felt safe after finding out the handles were actually chrome by viewing pics of other peoples rides here on NICO(Thanks to my wife for finding the site for me, and chatting with KAMIN to point me in the right direction!)

The kit is an IMPUL kit, and also has a 280km/h speedo by IMPUL and an IMPUL stainless steel exhaust system..

Is the stock system a twin system all the way through? Mine is still twin right to the back muffler..

I would love to try out some standard seats... If they are as comfy as the rear... i would be in heaven

But the Recaros hold me in nice and tight, and reduce fatigue on long trips, due to being held in the right position...

I think the Q is a great car.... I am just glad I found one!

Nice Q man. You seem to have some type of body kit on it. It looks better with the tint...are you planning to put it back on? I'd definately shop around for some stock seats. I'm sure the recaros hold you tight but they just don't belong in a luxury sedan. I really like how the rims look.

Good luck with it....

Yes, I will be re-tinting the car for sure.... It's too hot here not to have it!I only took the tint off for inspection (they get picky about the light transperancy of tint here, and would only scratch my car up by attacking it themselves!!)

As for the seats.... can you imagine the postage from the US for a pair of seats????? Plus the purchase price! I'm not that rich!
