what kind of paint did u paint that exhaust manifold with? let us know how it stands up to the heat

Why is the IACV tube facing thr wrong way?

which way it supposed to face? Are you talking about the tube in the intake mani or the cold pipe? If I have some thing wrong please let me know I'm doing this project all by myself. thanks

did i miss something or do i see no injector ports on the intake??

other then that the motor loks super clean.

Im talking about on the cold pipe the pipe face the radiator right beside the throttle boddy. That pipe is for the IACV correct? if so its supposed to face the other direction and doesnt need to be that long.

I think that's only for a S13.. from what I heard. I know that on my Redtop, that pipe goes to the IACV.

On my friend's S14 motor, he didnt have that pipe connected to anything and I asked him why his IACV isn't hooked up. He replied that on S14 engines, IACV is not routed to the cold pipe like S13 and that nipple was for the recirc valve. Now, whether that's true or not I dont know.

P.S. I just looked at the FSM and I am right. That tube is used for the recirc valve. And that orientation of the cold pipe is correct for a S14.

Thanks for the feedback No PS right now I still need some stuff and no AC cause this is my weekend warrior not my daily driver. I have plan of cutting it off and welding it shut, I do need to weld my type rs flange on the hot side.
