the car is just about done, I just need to take it back to the bodyshop so they can re-align the rear bumper spoiler.

I'd love to go lower but any lower than this and my front bumper spoiler starts to rub like crazy.

I didn't go the complete VIP route with stretch tires and camber, instead I opted to go with nice 245 40 19 tires and nice alignment. This is my daily driver and I wanted it to have a nice balance of VIP and luxury sedan comfort.

More pics once the bodyshop re-aligns the rear bumper spoiler.

It's beautiful man! You have the wheel center caps? What kit is that, and it looks like JDM bumpers huh? When are we gonna meet up, we're both in L.A. and there's only a few of us around here!

yeah the center caps are gonna be here in a few weeks.

the kit is a JDM lip kit that is very similar to the wald exchange kit. You can call it a replica but it's not identical.

the bumpers are actually USDM, the bodyshop had to do some major modifications to the front and rear lip kit to make it fit properly. They did a really good job with the front bumper but the rear bumper spoiler is mis-aligned (the body shop is gonna re-align it and will up more pics once it's done) .

yeah meet up sounds good, maybe we can round up some y33-g50-f50 peeps ? Every VIP meet seems to be full of lexus's. We gotta represent!

That's right man, it's always nothing but Lexus. My wheels should be here on the 22nd, I got a call from WORK yesterday!!! Let's put something together for the new year, I should have my exhaust done by then too.

nice looking Q i like how you went the conservative route with comfort in mind. the JDM lip kit fits your stance nicely which brings up the question. would you consider this car EXE as opposed to VIP?

I guess you can call it a blend of VIP-EXE. I dunno.

I just wanted comfort, I wanted to go on dates without having my date give me a confused look of "WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOUR CAR?"

The 245 40 19 tires make a HUGE difference.

Very nice.

Can nothing be done about the gap on the sill extensions? Looks like a dirt catcher and rust incubator.

The sill design detail on the FY33 is one of my favorite parts of the car. Still haven't seen an aftermarket piece that integrates it well.

I instructed the bodyshop to just paint the damn rubber piece but they said it would just peal.

so I just opted to leave the rubber piece out.

Looks really good. I agree with the choice to not have stretch tires and camber, I think it looks stupid when a car has the wheels canted way out to the side.

thanks.

the surprising thing is that the car rides incredible smooth even with the drop and 19" wheels. I am shocked at how smooth and close to stock it feels.

The difference between 245 35 19 and 245 40 19 is night and day.

Those are almost just like what's already on there! (but nicer).

However, they're not it, they will supposedly be here on the 22nd I was told by them last week though *crosses fingers*

Hint: it's a Euroline, but not DH, DZ or SL

Words cannot explain how good that car looks. I recently purchased the same color q45. its a 97 im located in Rochester NY. So I was wondering if you could find it in your heart to tell me where can I purchase that kit and how much did you pay for it. Also what the shop charged you to mount and paint it. If not I understand . again compliments on the car it is the perfect example of luxury

thanks

the kit and the custom work-paint costed me 2500, it required a ton of cutting and fiberglassing.

I'll up more detailed pics once the bodyshop re does the rear bumper.
