I picked her up on Thursday of last week. I decided to trade more horsepower for all wheel drive so I got the M45 sport. I am a sucker for acceleration.

Upon delivery the outside was nearly perfect, but the inside was a mess by my standards. (not really that bad, but I am picky) However, nothing a little elbow grease couldn't get out so I spent the weekend getting her all cleaned up with clay bar, wax, and a lot of cleaning solution for the inside.

These wholesalers/dealers either don't know how to clean a car right or just don't care.

I am waiting on a NAV disc that should come this week and I still need to get an owners manual (complete set) I guess i can find one on ebay, but I am asking the dealer how much they are first b/c the one on ebay is $129 and not sure if that is good or not yet.

She's beautiful Jeff. Welcome to the club!

The owners manuals can be found on this site: http://www.infiniti-techinfo.com.

Edit by Mod: We have all the Infiniti M Service Manuals at our NICO site. Please look right here: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/.

Please do not redirect people away from NICO - read the FAQ for why not! Thanks for understanding.

Thanks I appreciate it. I did find all of the electronic versions of the owners manual on the site, but I wanted a factory issued hard copy to keep in the car.

For those that don't know, I just found out that if you go to the dealer and ask for an owners manual set, they will charge you $150 or more, but if you call Infiniti corporate, they will give you an owners manual for free and the everything else including Nav manual, quick ref guide, serv/maintenance, and warranty booklet is only $30 total. This may be old news to you all, but I thought it was a great find.

The other tidbit I heard was referring to getting another key. Again told that Infiniti dealers charge hundreds for getting new keys/programming. You can find the keys themselves online for about $80. If you take it to Infiniti to program, they charge about $80-100, but if you take it to Nissan, they charge $45 to program.

Thought that I would share what I found out just in case you didn't know.

Beautiful...I want one very badly. I'm browsing the market myself, hoping to buy after the New Year...depends on how expensive Christmas is I'm not a huge fan of that trim color, I'm a gray marble guy. But it's sweet none the less. Congrats

Thats a great looking car! Congrats on the new ride! I hope to trade in my 03' in a couple of years and either get an M35x or M45, not sure yet. I like that color combo too.

Man, some of those '06 M35s are going for around 25k now. And that's with LOW mileage too! That's a LOT of car for that type of money. I'm looking to buy early next year.

Mine has 14k miles...incindently there was a 2007 M35x with Nav black on black that had only 1k miles for 28k. (luxury motors in chicago) They aren't the most reputable I have heard, but if you have all the info up front you should be ok.
