the filter is just out of view in that picture so its not really low enough to suck up water and as for the heat shield, the heat from the dump pipe was boiling my brake fluid so I made sure it wouldn't happen again.

fine people whine about it over heating but ive not had any problems with mine at all. All of my swap part were in excellent condition so maybe thats why Ive been so fortunate with the way things have came out.

hey, as long as it's working for you. the size of the thing just worries me. where are you at? If it's cold, then it's kinda a moot point.

well the new turbo setup only has about 2000 miles on it. It pulls at 10 like the old one did at 16. Plus I still need injectors and a z32 mafs before i can crank it up, but its a absolute blast to drive. I'm just too poor to continue on so I'm gonna sell it all off, I'm afraid I have offically lost the itch to work on my cars

damn, maybe you just needa break from it all. i've got a friend who's too tall to fit in anything fun. he knows so much but isn't motivated to work on cars since it's so hard for him to drive and enjoy them. i hope things work out for you, and if i had the money i'd buy it all right now.

well the reason for that giant beast of a heat shield is that during the break in the turbo was cookin my brake fluid reservoir. The turbo is a t3/t04e 50 trim .63 a/r 360 degree thrust bearing and of course water and oil cooled with 5 bolt exhaust housing. As for the meet I'll have to see, my shedule is pretty crazy with school and work right now so I kinda play things by ear.

full crazy all out power by 3900 which isnt too bad if i was gonna re do it all i think i would pull the block out and raise the compression to 9:1 but hey since im selling it, doing that really doesnt matter that much
