Looks pretty nice. Personally I don't like the wings on coupes and it would look much better with a nicer set of wheels

i feel ya on the wheels... thats the next investment. i just wanted something other than steelies or stock wheels so i picked those up from a friend for next to nothin. but yea, the wheels and the paint will change soon. . . as for the wing. to each his own. haha.

^ yeah i'm with him stock ones would probably look better. But to each his own. Make sure you post pictures after paint. Looks good. I also prefer cars without wings on them too...

s ok, just that the gaps between the bumpers and panels/rear garnish/hood need to be adjusted. Can't wait to see it wth some nice flush wheels.

the gap between the hood and fenders is cuz the hood is vented. (spacers) the gap between the front bumper and fenders is because the previous owner was in an accident and the bumper doesnt sit right... the stock bumper sat the same way. i'll prolly take it off and see if i can get the bumper support to sit right... the gap in the rear... hmm any suggestions? thats just where the bumper sits... i dont like it either. i cant wait to get some paint on it and some bigger flush wheels. planning on geting some sportlines for it too. i have tein s-techs for now. not low enough for me. i had the sportlines on my first hatch and it sat sexy. im sure i'll get flamed for that, but im not interested in coilovers... i think its gonna look great. but yea, thanks everyone for the feedback so far.peace

just a list of what i have so far:adjustable rear control armsadjustable tension and tie rods and ends (turns on a dime)tein s-techs & kyb strutsfront and rear strut barsobviously the kit... ****ty konig wheels.full 3 inch cat back with test pipe... (too loud, need turbo)short shifterkazama solid motor mounts 97 head on a 93 block.. mmm ka. lolyep, pretty standard sh*t

Yeah I was just talking about the gap on the front bumper which I think there's only like 4 bolts that hold the bumper frame on so you should be able to loosen then and adjust it. As for the rear... I have no idea lol

Please explain this to me. Why would you put the kit on then paint it? Or are you taking it off when its painted?

I am just not a fan of not painting all the edges because eventually they shift here and there then you end up seeing lines.

Why didn't you use the correct turn signals? Leaving those holes and running different turn signals else where looks like crap.

well, appreciate the mixed reviews... as far as the paint goes, i am taking the kit off to paint the car... i just wanted to put it on and get some pics up on here cause i was excited to finally have a kit. ive owned 3 240's and have never been able to get a kit on one. as far as the turn signals on the front... i dont have the correct ones and since i was driving the car the past couple o' days i had to keep it legal, so i just put the sharknose signals on... dont worry im gonna do it right. but yea, im painting it myself... i'll be sure to keep you guys updated on the progress. im shaving the antennae, the rear sidemarkers, and possibly doing some molding on the kit. im pretty proficient with body work so im not too worried. as far as the gaps go, when i put the kit back on i promise to address them all. the vented hood... well, i guess some like it, some dont. i know i know i need wheels... thats gonna happen. but otherwise, i know ive got a long way to go, i just wanted to share with the class.

I think the car has potential...

here's my suggestions:

1) get the correct sideskirts for them. Those front and rear bumpers are WAAAY too agressive for oem 180sx sideskirts, and I'm sure you can agree.GP sports g sonic zero-1 would be a great set of sideskirts that would match the agression... or any other from the g sonic line

2) coilovers is a must. don't ask, just do. lol

3) wheels, and low offset wheels. Minimum of 17" to be rocking aero like that.

4) lose those chuki turn signals and get the correct ones. It looks super ghetto the way you did it. Besides, they aren't that much... hell, even the JDM half ambers/half clears don't cost that much. They're like $40 a set brand new.

5) lastly, paint. But if you get 1-4 done, I'm sure other people could care less about paint, probably including yourself.

I actually think the sideskirts flow well with the kit.

Also, fix the bumper sag right after you put some wheels on and drop this car on its face.

isnt this the way that we judge on "ricers" having body kits unpainted, with some crazy stuff on it yet b/c its a 240sx nobody is calling a ricer car?!
