I was building my engine a few weeks ago and I decided I wanted to keep my stock manifold and port it. I Didn't feel like paying someone to do it so I did it myself. I used a dremel with some dremel brand rotary files and sanding rolls. I don't have time to do a writeup but i thought people might enjoys the pics.

Looks good, but I am gonna have to . Doing this while still attached to the block isn't the best idea.

Look closer. It's not attached to the block.

To the OP. Any plans to go further than just 2 inches in? Or was this just a quick port match job?

The block was not attatched, use your eyes lol.

I had an engine builder tell me not to go much further in the manifold than 1.5" or so inches so I left it at that.
