Today we went out to this really cool car show, the Elyria Apple Festival Car Cruise. There were probably 300 or so cars and a huge variety of everything from cruisers to $150K+ rare optioned out original muscle cars of Barrett Jackson quality. I have been going to it since 2001 and see new stuff every time. Always one of the more fun shows of the year, we took 5 cars this time around.

Anyway....the pics

We met up at the Nissan dealership I work at so that we could all roll there as a group and park together. Steph snapped this pic of the Z out front

Some pics of our cars

Me and NSRsheets

Some pics of other cars at the show

Steph's favorite car at the show...

Numbers matching unrestored 30K mile 427 corvette with all documentation

Some more cars....

Flawless COPO Camaro

Nice clean 240Z

More cars....

Who ya gonna call?

Anyway, that's it for now, Steph and I took like 250 pics so I'm sure she'll add some more. Hope you enjoyed

Thanks Its my background at the moment actually.

As for the Focus. I'm a big fan of it as well. Finally putting in that turbo motor over the winter. Decided it didn't make sense to have down time and do it during the season when I can be driven. Will be a built turbo'd 350hp beast next year. And look exactly the same No one will expect it.

Show was great and very fun. To bad Joe wasn't there. Way to fail Joe. There was a great variety of interesting cars. To bad I didn't have the 240 running, but a lot of people still liked the tiburon.

Should have it running tomorrow. Have to finish replacing old broken parts. Hopefully my other 240 will arrive tomorrow too.

BTW damn is spelled damn. Would turbo it, but would have to make a custom kit. custom=lots of $. If I do anything it would probably be a sc. Anyway I'm more consentraiting on the 240.

Maybe you should show up to, so way to fail Abby. I bought another one because of title issues with the first one. I am planning on swapping the SR from the original one to one I can title.

My favorite is the 427ci C2 Corvette. Definetly hot stuff. We have car shows in the summer time here every Wednesday nights and seeing the old muscle cars done up nice, is always great to see(as well as listen to when they fire them up!).

Your krew looked a little out of place in that show though...

No fair, Sheets. I don't have a car here. What am I supposed to do?? Why don't you come get me and then I'll be home to keep up with things.

Sucks that the title thing was so effed up with the 240... I didn't realize that problem was still around a month later... glad you're finally getting it all sorted out. oy vey.

I wonder what the old timers and muscle car/classic car fanatics thought about the imports. Did they like them or no?

Well to be fair. A 240z is a classic and would be welcome at the 'old timers' car shows especially as clean as the one in those pictures that NSR posted.

However, Ford Focuses, Z32 with the ricer special, Tiburon with an ironing board in the back... Those can kinda be out of place.

Not at all....we weren't the only imports or new cars by any means. Just put up pics of some older stuff
topless94 wrote:I wonder what the old timers and muscle car/classic car fanatics thought about the imports. Did they like them or no?
Lots of the old timers loved the cars. Pretty steady crowd around both our newer stuff and the older stuff. Plus the Z draws a huge crowd pretty much where ever I take it
